Anyone got any pictures..? Checked Flickr but not getting anything recent. Heard they were having some work done, didnt realise they'd get a repaint!

Is it the lighting in the picture or is it missing the grey areas that the 365 has on the bodyside?

The most obvious reason is to make sure it isn't in the full TSGN livery I would have thought?

I thought it looked different - any ideas why they've ditched the silver? Cost maybe?

Perhaps they might not want to spend too much effort on it since it is getting transferred to Northern. After all we are waiting for the 387s and ultimately 700s so the 319s are not a priority for Govia. Or maybe it is unfinished yet and they are still to apply the grey overlay. I'll be keeping an eye on this unit at Luton Parkway...

So far the only units set for transfer are from the 319/3 subfleet. Govia will probably want to get rid of the FCC brand anyway and I don't exactly think its going to be a major refurbishment. The 319/0s don't have the best interiors anyway and they were due a refresh.

The 319/0s are the shabbiest sub class by far with a barely untouched interior

Presumably the more basic livery appearance (at least at this stage) is because the entire Class 319 Thameslink fleet will be transferred away in the coming years, whereas the 365 GN fleet will remain.

It looks horrible and given the intensive use the 319s see will look like utter ****e within a few hours.

It'll probably end up looking like the white Thameslink liveried 319s - most of the time they were a muddy brown colour!

There's been some interior mods done to 319010, I'm not up to speed on what they are, but they are to do with the accessability and information systems. But here's some close ups.

I'll be interested to know what the mods are to the information systems, are they going to stop the drivers pay if he/she doesn't use the PA ?

Have it on good authority PIS systems are being fitted to the units, certainly 006 has had a destination blind removed (unit returned to service due to stock shortages).

Units are fitted with train fx but we can only use cab to cab and pa at the moment. The two yellow buttons. So hopefully these should be up and running soon.
On a sepertate note it seems to me that the 319/0's will be the last to leave. New paint and PIS but call me cynical.

I'm really struggling to see the interior modifications on board. No change inside really that are obvious or visible. Colour scheme on outside looks good though.
