Beat me to it. People just need training on how to store their luggage. Many seen incapable of any common sense..You could probably get luggage under the seats too

One minor criticism is the heating duct rubs on your calf, not unique to these trains though. Also no luggage racks that I can see? This might be dictated by the layout being low floor meaning there's no space to put one
Probably have all pantographs removed and curtail any plans for through East Suffolk or Stansted services mate. Usual overreaction seen across the railway these days.
24 x 755/4How many 755s are actually in the fleet...? The GA Wikipedia article says both 10 and 24![]()
ThanksJust a couple left I think if that. If you follow Richard Clinnick on Twitter he usually post all the latest arrival and accepted units.
How many of the 24 / 755/4 and 14 x 755/3 will need to be available to run a full days timetable without bringing in old stock from elsewhere?
So if that is correct there are 12 more new units. I think some needed to enable Cambridge-Stansted extension of the 1Kxx Norwich services and some probably for the extension of some Lowestoft-Ipswich to London. What else? Is the rumoured shortfall in IC units actually because 3 of the powerful regionals might be intended to cover the NiNnies? 2.6kW * 3 > 5.2kW * 1.I recall a previous post stating that there 25 DMU diagrams that had to be covered by the 26 old units. Hence why cancellations were common if anything went wrong.
Azerbaijan is giving it a go with five trailers with a four engine power-pack.With the one power module how long a unit would be feasible?
Hi mate, yes when they work I cannot fault them. Really are terrific units. The faults & technicality of it all makes most of us dread them somewhat sadly. Shame as acceleration even in diesel is so impressive. Just need to sort these faults out that are denting every drivers confidence.dk1, have you driven the 755’s yet and what are your feelings on them? And what are they like to drive? Thanks for any thoughts.
The Flirt I was traveling on to Ipswich announced it would stop at Westerfield but the driver corrected and said we would not stop. Is this an ASDO problem or something else?
Should the pantograph automatically drop when diesel traction is selected? Is there a camera for the driver to check the panto has retracted safely?Probably have all pantographs removed and curtail any plans for through East Suffolk or Stansted services mate. Yes and yes. We do not however have that camera viewed for long if selected as would be yet another distraction.Should the pantograph automatically drop when diesel traction is selected? Is there a camera for the driver to check the panto has retracted safely?
Sorry should've said Lowestoft to IpswichMost Lowestofts are not booked to call Westerfield, which service was it?
They do (usually) call when the Felixstowes are cancelled.
