Apparently according to credible sources Fast line have just announced they have axed their Inter modal business with Immediate effect due to a downturn in traffic so no grids on Inter modals anymore.

Wonder if we will be seeing the OWNED fastline grids being set aside in favour of LEASED 66s. Sound like a familiar situation?

Well it seems like everyone has got the idea that the Grids will be used on coal whether there is any truth to that is to be seen.

A huge loss to the local scene, probably the end of my interest in local freight now. Still, it was superb whilst it lasted and I hope all the staff, particularly the enthusiastic Rugby men who worked through here, find other work quickly.

It is only the intermodals that are stopping. The coals are contiuing to run so the 66/3s will stay on them.
