Could it have anything to do with when it ran away at the depot?
No it wasn’t. There was no damage to any of the doors in its mishap at Ilford depot

I was on a refurbished set yesterday but only from Preston to Lancaster. Think it was the 12:43 off London via Birmingham, coupled to a set still in Virgin livery. A definite improvement on the old interior even if my ride was only a matter of minutes rather than hours.

They have been going in and out around one unit a week for quite a few weeks now.
I saw 221101 coming back on the 6th August 2020 with the next going out to Ilford the next day I believe.
They have been going once a week since then so I would say at least half a dozen must be done by now can't help with numbers unfortunately.
Completed are 221101, 102, 105, 106, 108, 109, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 118, 143.
211113 returned to Barton Under Needwood this morning and something replaced it but nothing is shown allocated on Gemini.
The only two not in service today are 110 and 117 so will be one of those two.
Outstanding are 103, 104, 107, 110? 114, 116, 117? and 142.

Was it 221116 or 221142 that left Ilford today? I thought 221116 went last Friday 4th.
I have seen on another forum that todays 5M60 was two 221’s. No units were identified but todays afternoon move from Barton under needwood appears to be a non runner. There was a VSTP issued this morning

Yes your right 221142 left Ilford today.
Your RTT links were the correct workings. Mine just the schedule ones. There must have been a VSTP like you said.

Thats ok Dan. I can confirm that 221110 arrived at Ilford and both 221110+221142 went back to Barton under needwood. 221110 returned back to Ilford arriving Saturday morning for refurbishment.
