There are still a few concrete 'tombstone' type stops present in Northern Ireland. There were 3 different designs, some saying 'Bus Stop', others 'Bus Stage', and most rarely 'UTA Stage', this standing for Ulster Transport Authority. This one with UTA lettering is still present just north of Ballynahinch, despite the fact the UTA bus operations became Ulsterbus as long ago as 1967:

Yellow band covered up below - presumably Thamesway or Eastern National? And not a bus stop but a "coach request stop" apparently.

Bus stop in Asfordby Hill, Leicestershire still has the old Barton Buses sign on it. They became Trentbarton back in 1989 according to Wikipedia.

They did keep the Barton name going until the early 2000s as this David Flett image illustrates but it is definitely into the relic realm as I can't recall when they actually withdrew from the town

Fen Ditton on the edge of Cambridge still has an old Cambus flag on its bus stop - as far as I know that branding was phased out in 1995!

These stone built bus shelters were common in the Colne Valley, Huddersfield until about 20 years, when most were partially demolished and a modern shelter erected inside its footprint (the back wall often remained). There are a few ofthe old design still standing though.

There’s this wonderful relic in Old Whiston, which up until recently hadn’t seen a bus for a decade I would say:

The 24 harrogate - Pateley Bridge has a lovely set of stone bus shelters.

It would be remiss of me not to mention this original shelter which was built in 1896 as a tram shelter and is Grade II listed

This Victorian former tram shelter is still to be found in Preston:

There's a few in the Holme Valley too such as the one up at Holme turning circle, one by the toilets in New Mill, one outside The Rock Inn at Brockholes and there's one up at Hade Edge.

This sign is a relic from the original A49 road in Stretton - now within the grounds of the Pear Tree pub.

This bus stop still exists in Kirriemuir, Angus. As far as I’m aware it’s the only surviving example of the old Strathtay logo (pre 2005) appearing on a bus stop.

There’s also a bus shelter with ‘Grampian Regional Council’ and the old council coat of arms on the Great Southern Road in Aberdeen. As far as I’m aware it’s the only one, all others have been covered with Aberdeenshire, Moray and Aberdeen City council logos.

This one was on the outskirts of Middlesbrough, not sure what era it is from but it disappeared in July time 2021, after not seen a bus for a number of years.

Saw this rather nice brick and tile shelter just down the road from the splendid Edwardstone White Horse recently. No idea when Edwardstone (Suffolk) last had a bus service, but it must be some years ago now, though I suppose there's probably still a school bus.

There are a number of brick made bus shelters at Hickleton, Marr & Scawsby in South Yorkshire on the X19 route.
