Loads of recovery time anyway - assuming no further incidents en route I would assume punctual arrivals.
Slipped to 110L at Tring due to being caught in the traffic passing the incident site.
Now on the Fasts at Bletchley with clear lines ahead, but I suspect given how far behind it is now there'll be at least some delay at destinations.

For those interested in sleeper operations of times past - have come across this video

which shows (eg. from 2.55 onwards) what the sleeper formation from Inverness was in the mid 90s (the time I remember watching it depart as a youth!)

Two 37s and 5 motorail wagons on the front.
Dreadful!

The Aberdeen bit arrived just 19 late; the other two bits seem to be currently around 45 late but will of course be hampered by single line sections.

I was still right, all 3 services were late into their terminating stations. Theres far more slack in 1S26's timings than there is on 1S25's.

1B26 diverts via Mossend and Cumbernauld in the morning, 1C11 will divert that way tonight as well.

For those interested in the locos, all 6 73/9s were working this morning.

73966 and 967 are working an SRPS tour from Paisley to Kyle of Lochalsh.

73968 and 969 worked 1S25 to Inverness and will be added to the SRPS railtour at Inverness.

(There'll be 4 73/9s on the SRPS tour when it arrives at Kyle of Lochalsh - 2 at each end)

73970 and 971 worked 1Y11 to Fort William.

Why two of them to Fort William?
1Y11 Thurs am and 1B01/1Y11 last night were 73970's first outings in passenger service after several months in Brush for CAF mods and other repairs, so my guess would be it's paired up with 971 for a bit of insurance.

Good thing there’s no beds on a Saturday night, it appears Dalmuir is underwater...

Looking at how deep some of the flooding is and the damage it will have caused, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s disruption to the Fort Bill beds tomorrow night.

The Singer road is open now, it's just the Yoker road that's gunned, so 1B01 should be ok even it it remains shut all Sunday as seems likely.

I understand one (or more?) failed at Kyle yesterday resulting in a 2 hour delay?

It was an RETB CDR issue with 969 which required a run round to put a loco with a good CDR on top.

...because NR Control was informed that most of the passengers had left the train to visit the chip shop and been told they didn’t need to be back until 1745. But we’re well off topic now.

Would appear to be a bit of a shambles ongoing at Waverley. Looking like a late departure for 1C11.
