Frankly they're better than a lot of the tripe on the other channels at the same time. Quite why they all suddenly seem to need to put on children's films, I don't know.

As an aside, yesterday ITV3 had on the "Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads" film on and me and my sister were chortling all the way through. Still very fresh and sharply observed.

as a fan of the Likely Lads how did I miss this. Repeats?

I think that the Carry On films must be close to going the same way as Love thy Neighbour and It ain't 'alf hot Mum. ie not deemed suitable for today's audience because of the sexist/racist content.

Oddly enough, I just came across some old VHS tapes of It ain't 'alf hot Mum. (Windsor Davis is great :D in that role, we had a Geography Master from Wales that was just like him, in build, demeanor etc.)
