Tuesday 12th January:

153 318 & 374 will move from Landore to Canton tomorrow.

Can anyone confirm the current location of 153371/375 please? After their aborted attempt to move to Cardiff Canton back in October, they were taken back to Tyseley for attention and I've heard nothing of them since. Are they still at Tyseley?

I believe they are at Nemesis Rail, Burton. Not visible from the line though (or at least they weren’t in December).

I'm trying to establish the status of a pair of TFW 153s. Firstly, 153368 (now 153968) which arrived at Canton on 21 January on transfer from EMR (Store) but by road. and 153374 (EMR store at Ely) which came down earlier attached to 153318 to swap bogies at Canton following which 374 was reported to have returned to store at Ely. However, it seems to have turned up at Landore this week. 368 and 318 are among the 4 temporary allocation. I was going to ask about 153918 also but by some timing coincidence it has appeared in traffic today so can forget that one now.

374 came to Landore by road from Ely on Tuesday. I understand it's been bought by TfW to serve as a donor vehicle for parts for the rest of their 153 fleet.

I thought 374 had been renamed 974 but clearly not. Can anyone please confirm exactly which 153s have been renumbered to display 1539xx ?

374 has never been a TFW one so wouldn't have become 974. It has been off lease since removal from actual traffic

Does anybody have a list of what’s at Nemesis Rail Burton and what’s at Ely ? 375, 364, 381, 385, 376 all definitely at Nemesis but at least four other ex Tyseley units stabled and slightly obscured.
302 in particular would be useful.

At Burton AFAIK are 153311/34/54/56/64/65/66/71/75/76/81/83/85.
Also 153302 has apparently appeared at Worksop. Not sure if that's confirmed though.

Thanks folks. Is 302 visible from the Tesco side of Worksop yard ?
Could well be TfW 153972, thats in unbranded EMT livery and was stabled in Crewe most of Saturday.
153968 looks to have entered service today too so all 4 extra temporary ones are now in service.

153311 + 153376 + 153385 were reported as allocated to a 5Z01 1206 Burton Wetmore-Derby RTC on May 3rd, anyone know if this happened please?

Yes move did happen. But don't know what happened after that date since arriving at derby rtc.

Couldn't see these three on the RTC this morning. Just a single 153 next to the mainline on the Etches Park side
That's 153319 which has been dumped there for months next to one half of 158863 (partner away at Doncaster having major repairs after a depot derailment).
