Apparently there were a few issues yesterday which curtailed testing, but 93004 & 93007 are booked out today.
Saw a picture of them on social media stopped over South Muskham level crossing north of Newark

Looks like a 93 will head to Glasgow Central tomorrow light engine.
Path from RTT attached below.
Is anyone else having trouble finding this on RTT? It isn't showing up on searches, and if you access the link above and try to click into specific locations, the move isn't listed. Does RTT have a hidden moves feature, or is this a PICNIC (computer reference)?

Thanks to Tony2 for posting his photo. When I saw the loco at Carlisle en route to Glasgow, there was a 65A shed plate in the front cab - anyone know why ?

Well spotted!

Looking at my other photos, the shedcode was moved to the other cab when it arrived in Glasgow Central. 65A was Eastfield so there’s a Glasgow connection?

Any one know the purpose of these runs? Seem strange places to visit?
Glasgow, Stafford and Birmingham?

There have been one or two rumours in Brum, not strong ones though, of a new overnight parcels diagram. Could the 93s possibly be in line for this?

I thought they might just be waving the flag (while taking it round the country...) It looks very nice in the picture at Glasgow, and I'm sure lots of enthusiasts will turn out to look at it in the other locations. Stafford usually has a crowd who I'm sure will be very excited tomorrow!
It says it is pathed as a diesel, but might it run off the OLE? Or maybe not until after more exhaustive testing...

It was using the pantograph at Harrow & Wealdstone. I’ll send some photos later!

Just noticed some light loco ROG 0Q** moves for tomorrow, starting at Crewe South Yard, presumably intended as 93 test runs. However, I don't think there's a 93 at Crewe South Yard currently, and there's no inbound working.

Thursday 12th June:

On its run to Glasgow, 93001 was running in electric mode when it arrived in Carlisle. During its stop, enthusiasts were asked not to take photos of the cab interior due to the testing which was being carried out. I can only speculate but it may have been testing electromagnetic compatibility. The man in collar and tie who appeared to be in charge expressed that he was delighted with the performance!

Here is the Class 93 working 0Q72 Carlisle to Wembley L.H.S. at Harrow and Wealdstone.

Image shows 93001 passing Harrow & Wealdstone in Rail Operations Group green

The 93 is heading to Doncaster and back today:

Annoyingly I can’t make the 09:49 pass but I should be able to see it on its way back at Camden.

Does anyone know if these test runs between Stafford and Birmingham, will be running again next week?

Slightly disappointed that it was under diesel (sounded like it rather than battery and pan down so certainly not OHLE) power at Canonbury. Testing all modes or a issue with the NLL power supply and the 93?
