Wikipedia have a large article on the Chester and Holyhead Railway with a route map that shows all the closed and open stations on this line.

Both Foryd and Britannia Bridge stations are shown on this route map, but there is no mention of Kinmel Bay Halt on it.

But if you look at the Wikipedia article on the "North Wales Coast Railway" you'll see that Britannia station is omitted, and Foryd is actually called "Kimmel [sic.]Bay"

I should know the stations from here to Three Cocks Junction off by heart but I expect I won't remember them.....

An odd one this - appears to have consisted of one short platform serving the up direction only - but to have been staffed with at least a stationmistress. And one source says 'Gds'

My records show that this small halt was closed in 1955, having been a most unfrequently used station, but it did indeed receive passenger trains there during its life.
 

Top
