Fletton Junction
Is this the same station that the Nene Valley Railway took over in 2007?
Re Fletton Junction -- my usual scapegoat: Tony Dewick's Complete Atlas, and my ill-advised tendency to take that tome, and him, as omniscient. Complete Atlas (publ. date 2002) shows Fletton Junction as a closed station at the divergence point of the East Coast Main, and the Fletton loop leading into the ex-LNW route west out of Peterborough. I had assumed from Dewick, that it must have been a passenger station in the days of the GNR / LNWR passenger service between Peterborough and Leicester Belgrave Road via Seaton (withdrawn 1916): consulting other sources would seem to suggest "no such thing" -- its becoming a station via NVR doings in 2007, only coincidental.
