Darlington is far colder. Sunny outside, freezing inside.
It's true. Darlington officially has it's own weather, permanently arctic.
I always find Preston and Crewe freezing
Antarctic explorers have gone missing there in July.Piccadilly end of platforms 13 - 14
How many rail stations are underground?Ok let's just agree ALL stations are cold
If we are straying away from the national network, then Cairngorm mountain railway top station.Surely the coldest would have to be Snowdon Summit, by some margin?
Did you mean 'gnawingly'?But even the most exposed station in the mountains has some nice sunny days (at UK altitudes anyway) whereas some semi-subterranean ones like Rotherhithe or Green Lane just seem perpetually, knawingly damp and miserable.
