I have to admit, I would still vote for number 12. Sorry mate.

Damn, I wish I had a camera. I've never taken a picture of a train in my life (had them done for me mind), yet now I'm in a city adorn with viaducts and tunnels and HSTs to pass over/through them! Blast! I could have won... I would only need to go half-way up Wells Road (south from the city centre) to get a good shot...

Note to self: Buy a digital camera.

I don't honestly see why people enter 6 and 8! 6 is way out of focus and blurred and 8 is just stupidity!!

Gonna go with 14,fits very nicely into the surroundings.

Has to be No. 3 for me. Superb photo in fantastic setting. I actually went here the day after I got my Rav-4 car four years ago and the scenery is breathtaking. Ironically, I should get my new car today!

I like 14, though I'd also like to see it before it was Photoshopped! Nevertheless, I vote for that one.

I'd vote for 3, but it isn't quite taken level and that is really distracting my eye!

I like 8 - stupidity perhaps, but nicely quirky.
But I shall still go for the classic 14

The problem is that there's some processing of the images done by the uploader which is killing the contrast and colour.

14 looks exactly like that in real life. Photoshopped or not, it really is that pretty. I just wonder when it will fall down again......

As far as I am concerned, I was a bit disappointed not to see many of the 'classics' - no forth bridge/barmouth bridge/ribblehead viaduct/welwyn viaduct/woodhead tunnel. There is nothing like a bit of nostalgia.

10 and 18 are interesting in the sense that they very much depict modern life. How many places could those particular bridges be? Unfortunately, that also means they are not entirely special.

I liked 5 because it is possibly the most basic bridge imaginable though, again, not special.

Number 7 is great! Firstly, it actually manages to make Oldham a little less desolate than it really is. Secondly, it is a sight that will never be seen again so is now a picture of the history of the railway.

Someone got upset because of picture 8. Sense of humour failure methinks.

I shall not reveal what i went for, but it is definitely the one that I think is instantly the most appealing!
