60006 was scrapped last week.Have any of these loco's actually gone for scrap yet or are they still at Toton?
Thanks. I still need 12 for sight but did see 006 from the A52 bridge about 5 years ago.60006 was scrapped last week.
I need 35, 70 and 77 for sight but not sure that they can be seen from any public areas
What did you use for this may I ask?![]()

All been seen in January however I’m not sure if they are actual sightings or people putting down what’s there when they go

Not quite: 60006/086 were Ron Hull but 60060 was a private buyer I believe. There was a suggestion that 60086 had been sold on.It's been reported by someone on WNXX this afternoon that 60086 is on a lorry being transported to Leeming Bar with a second to follow, presumably 60060 as both were bought by Ron Hull, no doubt more info will follow as to their future
It was reported it was 60060 that was sold on, was it not sold by the private buyer to ron hull in a private sale. Not quite: 60006/086 were Ron Hull but 60060 was a private buyer I believe. There was a suggestion that 60086 had been sold on.

Delivered this afternoon to Leeming Bar. I have to say Good luck to whoever is taking that one on, as it's externally it is missing a fair few parts, so god knows what it looks like on the inside.
If it's work that someone will pay for, I am sure DB would be happy to do the refurbishment if required.I wonder if this is simply a scrap/parts sale or if DB would offer purchasers a Super60 refurbishment
This is the first sale after ORR requirement to offtern BR era stock to other users with minimal strings attached has ended so more likely to be scrap than previously. If it's work that someone will pay for, I am sure DB would be happy to do the refurbishment if required.
Is it known if any operators are interested in any of these locos? As the old thread has been locked I'll open a new one
Reported on WNXX (subscription section) that DB have placed fourteen stored Class 60s up for sale
008 - 009 - 013 - 022 - 038 - 057 - 061 - 064 - 070 - 075 - 080 - 090 - 098 - 099
All except 038 & 099 are in Toton Compound which is to be cleared for the new Automotive Facility
