Any idea which depots?

Generally, I have done a (long-overdue) edit, but it is quite intensive for us to keep an eye on. If anyone is willing to assist in helping keeping this route & traction thread up-to-date, please do let me know.

If there is still obviously outdated info (e.g. traction since withdrawn) also let me know - either by PM or a reply.
Recently I have sent you and another member (via PM) both Plymouth and Penzance GWR HSS route knowledge updates both of which are lacking from the list. Do you still require updates to your lists or not?

NIR

Depots - Bangor - BR, Coleraine - CE, Derry - LY, Lanyon Place - LP, Larne Harbour - LR & Portadown - PD

All sign 3000/4000. Coleraine & Derry don’t sign Portadown - Newry but otherwise everyone signs everything

Also there are Train Managers at Lanyon Place who sign 3000 & De Dietrich and I think they only sign Lanyon Place - Connolly

Conductors at Belfast also sign Newry to Dublin as well but they do not sign the De Dietrich stock.

I posted the full NIR information for each depot a few months ago in post #202 but it has not been added yet:

Yes you are correct that the Train Managers sign the Belfast to Dublin route only.

All added thanks as there were a lot of GWR gaps.

Northern Leeds Conductors now go straight into L3, there is no L4.

Northern Harrogate Conductors sign 150, 155, 158 and 170.

Amended thanks. Harrogate still just sign the one route?

Just an Add-On for SWR Woking guards… they also sign Waterloo-Dorking.

Amended.

Finally got around to adding all this in!

I'll wait until the depot goes live before we add this information.

From the December Timetable change, TfW Crewe and Shrewsbury guards will lose knowledge of Llandrindrod - Llanwrtyd. All HOWL services will cross at Llandrindrod.

Additionally, from that point Crewe guards will no longer be signing Shrewsbury - Birmingham International.

Just some small edits for Northern

Carlisle
sign 156s and 158s. They work Carlisle to Leeds and Carlisle to Newcastle (not sure if they have any other routes on top of that).

Huddersfield sign Leeds - Man Vic (via Bradford and via Dewsbury), Leeds to Huddersfield, Huddersfield to Sheffield, Huddersfield to Bradford Interchange (not sure what traction they sign)

Leeds don't sign 156s.

York sign 155s, not 156s.

Since when did Northern go to Dumfries?
Never (AFAIK), but it was operated by a Northern unit and crew on behalf of ScotRail. Similarly to how the Barton-on-Humber service used to work.

I believe they also do Carlisle-Dumfries and back....or certainly used to when I was still working.
I know for the drivers that work went back in house to ScotRail a year or two ago. I assume it's the same with the guards as well, they might as well share the taxi from Dumfries.

Northern Carlisle conductors lost Dumfries in Dec 2021. They do however sign through to Morpeth (unlike the drivers).

Huddersfield sign Leeds - Man Vic (via Bradford and via Dewsbury), Leeds to Huddersfield, Huddersfield to Sheffield, Huddersfield to Bradford Interchange (not sure what traction they sign)
150/1, 150/2, 158, 195.
Leeds don't sign 156s.
Some do but I don't think new starters sign it in.
