Can I ask you both what dates your assessments & structured interviews were? My assessment was 14/08 & my structured was 30/08. I had an email today saying I was successful & I would hear back for DM interview, no date as of yet though ..

Me too! I know their hr are very busy right now but I hope to see a date by friday 
Also DM interview last week and still waiting to hear 
each day is horrendous just waiting !!!! do you think should call ?? Or is that not the done thing ? Surely it would show enthusiasm and commitment to the job ??? What does every one think going OUT of my mind

Nothing. I did email Claire at HR a few days ago aswell. Although my DMI was Sept 3rd, I think some of you guys were a bit before?
I'm guessing people have been contacted about the outcome of the DM interview, I waited a month and still heard nothing, I managed to get hold of a HR number last week to be told posts have been filled I've had no email or letter makes me wonder how ling I would off been waiting had I not contacted them myself! has anyone who was unsuccessful had any feedback at all?

When you say next one March, does that mean the course would start in March? I only have till May when my tests expire so this might be a chance.

Thanks. Looks like it'l be my last chance (before I have to re-take my tests). So fingers crossed I notice it pop up on the careers section..
I signed up for alerts and selected EVERYTHING but I have got no emails for the recent jobs on GA's site, I feel the system is broken so i'm quite worried about missing the openings
I seriously would keep an eye on the website everyday and periodically call H.R. as I was told in March that the August course had been cancelled, the next one was in January and I've ended up on the October course! You've got to remember that they have hundreds apply so if you go off the radar then there is the possibility that you could get overlooked.
I think it's a balancing act between making sure they don't forget you and not making a nuisance of yourself. Good luck anyway peeps!

Check your junk/spam mail, all mine went in there so I nearly missed the last chance to apply but thankfully didn't.
I passed my assesments in september and heard from the opc on the 2nd oct that i will be contacted by GA to arrange the interview. I havnt heard anything since. Reading the posts this seems like the norm to be waiting a while which isnt a problem but should i have contact from GA acknowleging they have my details? Hopefully i will be contacted in view of getting on the march intake.

I don't have an email for HR but on their website they have the email for the recruitment team: [email protected]
I asked when my DM interview would be and they said "probably early 2014". Hopefully they would be able to update your application.

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure that there will be a course in March. The reason behind this assumption is that I was speaking with one of the H.R. bods and was told that March was likely to be next and this would be the first time the new assessments would come into play. Also I know there are a couple of places at Gidea Park which need filling though of course they could do this with internals. The situation does change though so this could be brought forward or put back so keep an eye on your e-mails.

January/February looks likely to be internals only with newbies being March/April and also the new assessments will be used (G.A. now will be doing the S.I.s).

There's meant to be a ton of new DD courses in the pipeline, at least for Ilford anyway, as far as I know, Southend, GP and others are all pretty slow movers and full. Its meant to be because of Crossrail beginning to take over the Shenfield Metros, they need a full compliment of DD's for the handover. But I can reliably say that at the moment at Ilford, there are no spare places, but there are a few mainline courses in the pipeline for existing DD's so who knows.
