You're probably thinking I have gone to the place Cheriton ;)

Today I went to Doncaster
I went up to Doncaster by Hull Trains and returned by Mk4 GNER
Both diverted via Hertford Loop

Cheriton is about one of my pets which for the first time in 3 years I went on that train!!!!!!!!! :razz:

Nice photos! I didn't get to see a Northern 156 in the new purple and white livery, but did lots of GNER HSTs, DVTs and 91s. :D

And I also saw some ex-GEX Mk2s at Peterborough

I saw a convoy of 3 EWS 66s through Peckham Rye tonight at 18:59. And I saw lots of Gex stuff at Stewarts Lane :). Good variety of stuff in the pics.

There was a lot of 66 movement when I was there on Wednesday - there must have been about 4 66s passing through in about 20 mins, all going in the direction. Maybe they were going to the same depot/area?? :)

the seats are more better than the Mk4s!

Summary
I took 09:00 Hull Trains from London King's Cross to Doncaster
The Staff were friendly, the Train was diverted via Hertford North
We had to slow down outside Peterborough
We arrived into Grantham 7mins early
We stopped outside Doncaster to let a fellow DEMU Virgin Voyager 220 to leave the station

On the Way to Doncaster , my train had passed the following x (times)
Cl91+Mk4set = 10
HSTs = 5
313s = 3
365s = 5
317s = 0
222 = 1
158 = 2
170 = 2
220= 1

On the way back we stopped outside Stevenage for 5mins and some people from Medical Research were holding green buckets asking for money
and the stupid announcer saying "Attention Traincrew, Disabled Passenger Alarm Operating" about 10 times
oh, and yes another 3mins wait outside Watton at Stone!
