We are on another HST bash today from Leeds to Aberdeen using The Mirror tokens.
The mystery is that this morning the 07:10 from Leeds arrived here in Aberdeen 7mins early and performed perfectly.
However this same train is now running 38mins late as the 14:50 from Aberdeen to Kings Cross, it seems to have developed a fault before leaving here which has me puzzled.
Could it be something like one engine was shut down here and has failed to restart and they are taking it to Edinburgh on one power car in the hope the fitters might be able to get it going again? Just wondering if HST's can be prone to something like that or not.
*Btw we are not on the late running train, we are waiting for the 18:16 that gets back to Leeds at silly o'clock
