the bubble will also be operating the Ravenstor incline.
Anyone wishing to sample the bubble car at the EVR should do so in the near future whilst they have the chance.

I might see you tomorrow then as I'm on the Duffield train.Looking at the roster this week, the EVR seem to be pleasing all markets, which is quite impressive. They're offering Wirksworth-Duffield Holloway Road with a top and tailed train including a steam locomotive and a diesel locomotive and then running DMU's on the Ravenstor incline too. I'm possibly visiting tomorrow depending on how I feel when I wake up in the morning, so it will be interesting to see what this offering does for footfall. Hopefully those asking for DMU operations earlier in the thread are able to support the railway by visiting too.
Is it returning to LSL soon? I suppose once the 122 is complete it won't be needed anymore.Anyone wishing to sample the bubble car at the EVR should do so in the near future whilst they have the chance.

Some demo freight will be nice! I was looking forward to that last year, but it got replaced with the bubble, if I remember correctly.Timetable for the twin peaks gala is now available (Thursday 11th - Saturday 13th April).
Similar to the gala last year with a generally 70 min frequency on the mainline and frequent Ravenstor shuttle but for both lines there now seems to be some freight workings in the mix. With the end of the roadworks in Matlock the bus times have shortened.

I've not heard about anything leaving the railway.Eh? I hope not, I like a good 31, it’s my favourite loco there.
While it may not be leaving the railway, I did here a rumour that it may not be running for much longer, last summer.I've not heard about anything leaving the railway.

The Facebook page just says "huge donation" but the amount is on the Go Fund Me page, labelled "anonymous".
Even just as enthusiasts and users of heritage lines in general, we have to be so thankful that there are people out there willing to make such donations. I'll never not be amazed by the generosity that people can showWow! Someone's just bunged them £10K two days ago. Funding target achieved, excellent!
