Does anyone know why there is 30 limit there and has been for weeks?

Why hasn’t it been repaired?

The embankment on the down side is settling and slipping. The 30 mph restriction will be there for a long time until they spend dome serious money!

Yep that's the reason.

It has slipped in the past too several times, bit of a troublesome embankment.

If this is the embankment immediately north of New Barnet, there are some OLE works planned for Feb 2023 to replace 9 failing headspans giving the Leaning Tower of Pisa a run for its money.

Rest assured they'll be mechanically independent!
