Thanks for that.I don't work there, but it looks like this:
Sundays in the working week.
There are a lot more Sundays worked (upto 50%) at some other EMR depots, so it might not stay at such a low level in the future.

Very odd roster. 4 weeks of late on the trot at one point. Sunday’s inside and if the salary is right on Aslefs website, good luck getting applicants for that!
I mean it won’t attract Qualified Drivers away from other companies. You jest surely, with the amount of people looking for Driver roles?
Four days of nights on line 4 with a 0430 finish (and the corresponding Friday turn on line 24). I guess that it the turn that operates the last service out of St Pancras but that appears to be back at Kettering Stabling Sidings at 0158 (having run from St Pancras to Corby at 2355).
It seems to me that the 0318 starter on duty KT101 would work the first working at Kettering Stabling Sidings departing 0402.
Does the driver on duty KT109 just sit spare for two and a half hours or have some role in shunting units at the sidings as necessary?
Thanks for that.
Wow Sundays inside. What’s the basic?

Thanks for that info. Perhaps once the depot is more established the roster will be shaken up.Forgot to add that Spare Movement is +/-3 hours.
Well some of the two and half hours could be the PNB plus walking time each way and I imagine KT109 is prepping units during the night for the next morning - not sure if there is a carriage washer there? Could run a couple of trains through there maybe?
Although - rumour I've heard is the last St Pancras to Corby service is a Derby driver!
Good old rumours!
Saying that - with 6 trains of 3 units each for the service to run, which might need remarshalling with various unit shunts - the two and a half hours is probably not enough, so the rumour about the last run to Corby being worked by a Derby driver may very well be true.
Yes, £58,239 headline figure on ASLEF site as they had a 2.5% rise last January. The other figures below it for Sundays excluded, Mentors and Instructors are all out of date and need Jan 2020's 2.5% rise adding on.
57k at West Midlands/LNWR at Bletchley or Northampton is probably the closest competitor for driver roles. Sundays outside there.
63k at Thameslink Sundays outside, but DOO work. All EMR is with guards, even the class 360s.
It isn't all class 360 work though, there is a fair amount of work to Derby and Nottingham on Meridians I understand.
58k with Sundays inside is quite low for Sundays in the working week though yes. Unfortunately the union pushed for it and the drivers got the choice of a poor rise and remain opted out of Sundays, or a bigger rise of just over 3k for Sundays inside a few years ago when Stagecoach ran it as EMT. They didn't get a 'No' vote for the deal!
Opted out drivers are on c.£54402 (the ASLEF site is out of date for some of the figures as I said) but anyone new to the company is opted in, and so is everyone who transferred to a new depot - so everyone at Kettering is.
Doo isn't that bad, I've always done it and you get used to it. I dont think a guard is worth that much of a drop in money. TL is 63 + about 8-9k for Sundays. Instructors are on another 5k so overall its quite a massive jump , the only negative being doo work and more stops.Forgot to add that Spare Movement is +/-3 hours.

So drivers sold there Sundays for about 3k. lol58k with Sundays inside is quite low for Sundays in the working week though yes.
