I also still have a stash but IIRC they will at some point be phased out completely. It could be as soon as the end of this year.Pity! Still - I have a wodge with my passport which will keep me going for a few years...

I don’t believe this is correct. There will be a price increase for tickets purchased during the period, but tickets purchased prior to the 20th of July will be valid as normal.A bit off topic maybe, but during the Olympic Games normal Navigo and presumably card tickets will not be valid.
indeed.. as per the article linked to.I don’t believe this is correct. There will be a price increase for tickets purchased during the period, but tickets purchased prior to the 20th of July will be valid as normal.
That makes sense. Apple were wanting to take a percentage of anything bought on the app, which they were not willing to accept. This was originally given as the reason not to develop an Apple app.Thanks. The iOS version is available but the notes say that you still need a physical card in order to recharge with your phone.
Does anybody know whether a carnet of 10 tickets t+ on a mobile phone expires, and if so, after how much time? (The paper tickets don't expire.)If you have an suitable phone you may be able to download the Ile de France mobilites app (google "idf mobilités app"). On this you can buy tickets with no need to buy a Navigo card and can touch in with your phone.
And also if you lose your phone and replace it with a different model, will the carnet still be retrievable?Does anybody know whether a carnet of 10 tickets t+ on a mobile phone expires, and if so, after how much time? (The paper tickets don't expire.)
I've now bought a carnet on my phone and they warn you not to delete the "My Navigo Tickets" app since you can then loose all your tickets. So they're stored on the phone itself, which probably means you loose them when you loose your phone. And also if you lose your phone and replace it with a different model, will the carnet still be retrievable?
Thank you. I prefer the previous way where you’d find a couple of unused tickets in your suitcase for next time!I've now bought a carnet on my phone and they warn you not to delete the "My Navigo Tickets" app since you can then loose all your tickets. Yes. That system has always worked well for me.Thank you. I prefer the previous way where you’d find a couple of unused tickets in your suitcase for next time!
It is possible. I bought one yesterday for €2.15Is it no longer possible to buy a single metro ticket for a cross-Paris journey? I only need one on Tuesday to get from Gare de Lyon to Nord.
Ohh, I've not seen that, finallyBut mobile tickets can be loaded on iPhones, as of a few days ago.
At the beginning of the m-ticket service on Android (circa. 2018-2019) the reporting were of the former for Apple, now with the introduction of it, I have no idea how Apple/IDFM got to an agreement. Are we sure that Apple want to charge for each validation rather than for sales?
But according to a post upthread you can't buy tickets online with an iphone only load them via bluetooth from a physical Navigo card. Are we sure that Apple want to charge for each validation rather than for sales?
Navigo Easy cards can be issued from select ticket machines.ticket office staff as they can’t be issued from machines
