We have had vehicles on loans for an few weeks now just been getting swapped daily mostly. This week has seen slightly more than normal.

Sarah, this is not the case. These buses are the first we’ve had on loan for weeks. Arrived Monday and probably go back tomorrow morning.

Talking of buses on borrowed time are 33355/56/58/59/61/65/68/69/70/74 still running? I believe 33353/60/62/67/71/75 may be ithdrawn?

All of the ones you note of being withdrawn and 33368 are gone.

only 55/56/58/59/61/65/68/69/70/74 left in use as it stands

69065 also gone

There is an issue with it it’s being scrapped.

Aye, that may be, but there wasn’t an issue with the gears when I drove it on the 57 weeks ago.... sorry if wires got crossed there. Sarah is certainly a storyteller

No probs I can say the issue with it isn’t gear related.

B7RLEs being withdrawn already? Presumably moving on rather than scrapping?

Are Caley fairly short for spares at the minute? Passed on a 31 yesterday about 11:15am and there really weren't many vehicles around compared to even 2/3 weeks ago

Usually empty during the day, often see a few low heights e400s sitting during the day.

Are the new M3 buses in service? Seen two at caley sitting other day.

Seen one being used for training yesterday. Was a new driver that only started yesterday and then she got swapped onto my 60A at St George Cross to learn the route from the driver and learn some other stuff too

Is it just me or does the E200MMC look so much better with full sized wheels?!

I think the bigger wheels improve the smoothness of the journey not to mention how much better they look. My issue with the E300s and E200MMCs was the smaller wheels made them feel more flimsy. I get it’s more environmentally friendly and makes the bus lighter effectively but imo bigger wheels really do look better.

Yeah , look like toy wheels.

Yeah with it being 1 an hour they're hard enough to time as it is let alone trying to predict when the electric buses will be on them. The current buses on them are far too tight spaced for anyone to be able to breathe on them and unless you have extremely thin legs it's actually quite difficult to fit in and be comfortable

Yeah they are haha. Doesn't help having to avoid them as I have had knee problems. Only got the M3 a handful of times in my life so luckily I've had success avoiding them. Feel sorry for anyone who uses them a lot

Anyone know any services that are being considered for cuts anytime soon? I'd imagine the X1 and X2 are being looked at. Not sure of many others apart from the X4 and maybe the 31.

Managed to get Corporation Gemini 37738 on my local 57 run yesterday evening :) certainly brought a wee bit of heritage to the route! Hoping to get Strathclyde 32657 on said route soon
