32027 was in Camborne earlier today with a notable lean to the left!
Oh dear, remember it not having the most successful run in Falmouth but thought Penzance Depot had cracked it as it seemed alright on Atlantic Coaster runs, hopefully it's nothing serious

If it’s been parked a while it’s common for the air to drop in older vehicles and drop the suspension.
otherwise a popped airbag can create a lean, a fairly common issue on air suspension

Fitters looking at the engine on 33421 at around 6pm.
Given the amount of time it's been off the road, it can't be good news, probably not fatal otherwise it would of left in the lockdown clearance but certainly can't be healthy

Cornwall by Kernow Facebook page confirms open tops on A5 from 12th July. Timetable and route changes also.
All services go Bedruthan, not serving airport or Constantine bay

Ah right, lost track during the lockdown of what was running and what wasn't so didn't know it was even broken down, presumed it was just a hot spare like the Tridents were

Was Camborne was just unlucky they didn't have the part available or do they just order parts in when required?

Not sure if it has been posted before. Looks like the depots for the new school contracts will be located at Plymouth, Exeter and Winkleigh.
Last Friday I came across a Truronian coach on a very sharp bend on the B3179 at its junction with the delightfully named Inner Ting Tong near Budleigh Salterton. I was too busy driving round it to note which coach it was but it was GWR green and, I think, it was a Plaxton Panther. In view of the current complete absence of coach tours and hires I can only assume it was there in connection with routes to/from Bicton College.

Wonder if they will share sites in Plymouth and Exeter with other operators or have separate locations?

Perhaps they could go back to The Ride and share their old Plymouth base with Stagecoach?

More likely share with Tamar coaches may be,?

Winkleigh makes sense - a Dan Shears outstation!! However, stationing a vehicle at Bridport could make sense though. IIRC, think FWoE used to outbase a Wells vehicle at Yeovil.
Hi Wazoo,
Your correct, when Wells did the 377 a vehicle of the last service of the day was garaged at Yeovil overnight ready to work the first service the following morning.
Often a regular driver worked it. Back in B10/B7 days.
All the best,
Mike

Why the apparent sudden thought of sharing with another operator??
There are numerous other sites in Plymouth that could be good choices and not involve a share

Are Kernow still due to receive Geminis from West Yorkshire (or was it York?) and have they received all the expected transfers from West of England?

And Kernow could always borrow one of their old Tridents from Dan Shears if the need should arise!! He has a good selection!

In view of the current complete absence of coach tours and hires

where have you got this assumption from?
A look on Truronian’s Twitter, 2 coaches were at Heathrow On hires and 2 at Ipswich in recent weeks. There are definitely hires going on at present.
A friend owns tamar coaches, he’s also posted on his personal Facebook photos from his private hires on the last few weeks.
The reputable businesses are getting private hires

37014 unfortunately just had a sulk at Packsaddle Estate stop (just before Penryn Campus) whilst working the 09:25 U1 service from Falmouth Moor to Truro

Driver said it ran completely out of power and wouldn't make the campus where it would out of the way whilst awaiting collection, it was replaced by 32757 instead running express to Truro

You're right that there's not a complete absence. However, the coach market is very depressed at the moment - this photo was taken three months ago and they're all still SORN-ed now https://www.flickr.com/photos/14167...94-RBfQ3m-xyNYTr-Zq5LD5-29gPkZn-WZXijm-bw3U9e

There's some rail replacement and other hires but this firm (and they have a modern fleet and a good reputation) did a lot of schools, corporate and university hires. It's tough days - very tough.

But it’s wrong to assume because they aren’t doing work, nor will Truronian and that’s simply not correct. Truronian have had hires coming throughout lockdown so the assumption that the coach mentioned above wasn’t on a hire is fundamentally flawed

No buts.... I was agreeing with you when I said "you're right that there's not a complete absence" and that @padbus was off the mark with HIS assumption.

Equally, it's fair to say that the coach sector in general is facing some big challenges.

Your response is perhaps a little strong.
