Put it another way - 32639 is a busy bus as it was (according to bustimes) operating....
1st June - A17 and 25 (Potteries)
2nd June - A17 and 6/6A (Potteries)
3rd June - A17 and 25 (Potteries)
It was then only on the A17 until it reappeared working both A17 and 25 Potteries on 8th June
9th/10th June - A1 and 25 (Potteries)
11th June - U4/T1 and 25 (Potteries)
12th June - 11/25 (Potteries)
It was then in the Potteries solely until 25th June
25th June - U1 and 25 (Potteries)
....and so it goes on
32638 has only appeared 24th Aug, 4th Sep and 10th Sep recently. Most recently, 32639 was allegedly working the 6/6A in the Potteries all day on Saturday and on the A1 on Sunday....
Whatever is claiming to be 32639, think it's fair to say that the real one isn't in Cornwall!!
Most interestingly whatever 32639 Actually is, according to data on bus times it ran at the same times as 32637 today (albeit with a couple of mins variation)
Tweet from Mr Morgan Hews himself this week showing Ensign delivering one of the ex EYMS / London Open Top Presidents. Easily identifiable as ex EYMS by both the conversion and the "SEA FRONT SERVICE" in the blind box. Painted up in AC blue, but awaiting vinyls.
Does anyone know what buses have been repainted lately as 37001 was show later in the week but Marc posted a photo of one out yesterday which was unidentified.
From the looks of it 37001 to 37045 are going to be in cornwall college livery
I was on the A2/A3 from St.Erth to Zennor this morning and quite pleased it turned up as closed top with the gale that was blowing. Must be getting old!
With the final bendy citaros leaving cornwall this week what is happening with the eden project I know it doesn't need buses at the moment but what about the future also has anyone heard about whats happening with the truro p+r and us there an age cut off for buses
Cornwall council supply the vehicles for truro park and ride, so the main vehicles are whatever they decide to supply.
nothing is happening with it and is an unrelated contract to the Eden park and ride

The Eden contract probably won't start until a new fleet of buses are ready for service, or if Kernow can source some temporary ones that meet emission requirements until new ones are available
Although of course no one can say for certain depends on how bad the Winter is, but I have a good feeling it will come back better than ever along with the E1 service

What are the emissions standards for the eden p+r euro 6?
If its lower then maybe some of the Bristol bendys but if it is euro 6 then maybe a newer single decker or even double as dont think there is any high restriction. (Maybe the e400mmc electric from Bristol as they don't seem to be getting used as a thought)

Did hear the contact is up for renewal, so new buses are most likely especially if they are meant to be electric now
It depends really on how much of a tourist season Cornwall gets next year and what the financial state of Eden is by then on what the bus provisions will be like, although I can't see Kernow not keeping that contract

I thought that the P&R contract had been secured by FK. CC will continue to supply vehicles; some Citaros are a little old now but the majority of them are 15 plate so good for a while yet.
As for the Eden, that is a completely different relationship but to be honest, there is a more existential issue with the place rather than worrying about their buses!
You are right there was pretty surprised when that announcement came, although reading comments from Kernow management and staff since then it sounds like they were never bothered about the Council work, and seem to be glad they don't have it any more
Eden on the other hand Kernow sound still keen on that contract like with the 101 meant to become the E1, although depends if Eden can afford to pay Kernow or if any operators like TfC would want it

Definitely, the return of the Eden buses will probably be very near the bottom of Eden's list of important jobs and could possibly be one of their cost cutting measures to help ensure long term viability
Are the Eden P&R shuttles really needed, haven't been to Eden for years now is it in walking distance for most visitors from the over flow car parks and some sort of golf cart type vehicles for those who need assistance?

Eden has been removed as an operating centre, as seen in last weeks notice and proceedings.
If Eden want electric buses they’ll have to offer a decent length contract to make it worthwhile to the operators investing in such vehicles, or buy the vehicles and have an operator run them on a contract basis over shorter terms

Maybe they might go for a cheaper contract that goes for lower emissions instead like Euro 6 which would suit both TfC and Kernow with their current fleets
What depot are Ex-Eden drivers now working out of?
Seen at Volvo truck and bus at Victoria today were Scania K114 23402 (MIG 3865), Volvo B7TL 32104 (MIG 6096) & Volvo B7TL 37001 (WX55 VHK) the latter green and white with Duchy College branding.

Just some random obs from Pz Bus Stn this p.m. The M6 has properly liveried buses back on it again: 32209 amd 32211 were togeTher and blinded up for the A1 at 16.30, and the former worked the 16.35. As 17.35 is the only other FK jny today I assume 32211 worked that. The A17 that arrived from St Ives Madron bound skipped the usual setdown stop and went straight to its departure stand to let off the several passengers waitling to get off; haven't seen that happen for a while. What is 32083 that arrived on the U4? Didn't recognise that one, Uni branded though this 51 reg was!
