39524 isn't in base blue livery though, it wears the same livery as the Electroliners.39518-21/3/4 were only in base blue, not full P&R livery and tend to spend more time on non-P&R services.

Hence using the word "were".39524 isn't in base blue livery though, it wears the same livery as the Electroliners.
39521 wore a black livery for York Rugby Union Football Club (RUFC) prior to being repainted into corporate livery.Hence using the word "were".
Before covid the last bus from Halifax was at 2315 so I imagine the later journey was short lived and probably for operational reasons (running the service from Todmorden depot) rather than any specific needTimetable for the 18th May revisions are on First's website, although the Saturday 590-2 ones appear to be Bank Holiday ones. There were some on Metro's site yesterday but they contained a number of duplicated journeys and don't appear to be available at the moment - presumably somebody is having another crack at it.
One thing I did notice is a later Friday/Saturday evening journey from Todmorden to Rochdale and return, which would (I'm pretty sure) be later than anything that has operated in the last 40 years. Not sure if this makes up for the Mon-Thur last bus being almost an hour earlier than currently though.
Also, I've just spotted the last 591 from Halifax to Todmorden extends to Portsmouth on Friday (and I assume Saturday). However, at 2305 this is still 40 minutes earlier than the current last service from Halifax.
You may well be right on that, I've no idea how busy the current later journey from Halifax is - long past my bedtime! Before covid the last bus from Halifax was at 2315 so I imagine the later journey was short lived and probably for operational reasons (running the service from Todmorden depot) rather than any specific need
Think you mean 39524. 21 wears a Base Blue livery and has done for some time now.39521 was in York Rugby League yellow and black. RLFC

July 20th Service Changes
From July 20th, there will be amendments to the Park and Ride services and Service 11:
• Park and Ride services 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, and 59 will all have an arrival into the City Centre by 05:45 (07:45 on Sundays) and a departure from the City at 22:30 daily. This is in addition to the usual summer school holiday increases. At the end of the holidays, the summer frequency will drop, but the extended span of operation will remain.
• Service 11 will be amended to operate every hour, as opposed to the current every 50 minutes. There will be no change to the route.
Any news of what's happening regarding the 10L/59 on Leeman Road?Usual Summer P&R changes in York from July 20th, but some additional permanent changes on top. Internal source
I’ve heard musings of the 2/3 going to 24h operation as well with an hourly service overnight, but nothing concrete yet
It would seem odd for the 3 to go to 24h operation, given that it doesn't even run an evening service now (last bus from town is 20:13).Usual Summer P&R changes in York from July 20th, but some additional permanent changes on top. Internal source
