I predict our first win will probably come when we kick off our League One campaign next August. 7 games against sides in the top 9 next, we'll be lucky to win this side of Christmas.
Bishops Stortford v Northampton is to be broadcast live on ITV. Cracking choice I must say, I'd prefer that to most of the other options. Not sure how many ITV will show, got a feeling it might be two, and two on BT as well.

Leicester v Man City
Stoke v Man Utd
Sunderland / Southampton v Chelsea
Tottenham v West Ham
I think 1 of the non league teams will be on TV for the 1st round, especially if they are at home. I have a sneaky feeling that the Grimsby v Scunthorpe match could be a live match, as you have a non league team at home against a league 2 side, with it being a local derby as well.
The problem for Joe Hart is that he initially got over confident, maybe even a bit cocky, and that led to complacency which in turn led to some stupid mistakes and soft goals being conceeded. That's obviously knocked his confidence and now he's at the other end of the scale where he's conceeding stupid goals because of a lack of confidence. A few shrewd people predicted this would happen when he was on top form and they've been proven to be right.
"Great to see Mark Hughes change Stoke's style to more of a long-ball game. Tony Pulis' side never scored from that far out!"
One more bad result for Norwich next week and Hughton will be gone if he doesn't go this week.
Hyde must be doing their utmost this season to not win. 1-1 against Nuneaton at home until the 91st min when they go 2-1 up, only to concede again 60 seconds later and finish 2-2.
Indeed, Fort William are well aware that their jealously guarded title of "Worst middle-grade football team in Britain" is under attack by Hyde
There has now been a new contender for this title, after today's win by Fort William and the draw by Hyde. This is Selkirk from the Lowland League, who now boasts a record of :-
P11...W0..D1..L10...Goals for 9..Goals against 45...Points 1
^^ What about Tameside club (no not Hyde) but Droylsden who plays in Northern Premier League Premier Division (seven ties of football) Droylsden have played 16 games this season, won 0 draw 2 and lose 14, only score 9 goal and let in 60 goals already this season and even lose 10-0 to AFC Fylde last Saturday. Surely they are now worse then Fort William.
Whatever has happened to "The Bloods". It is only a short time since they had two good runs in the FA Cup, taking Leyton Orient to a second-round replay at Brisbane Road in the 2010/11 season.
Tameside is not a happy place, football-wise, this current season....![]()
Forest loose again for the second weekend in a row, this time to Blackpool at home in the last minute. Looks like it'll be Championship again for another season...
Also, the Chairman gave the Manager a contract extension only a few weeks back. Wondering if he now regrets it!
Not happy!!
All our worries on how badly some of our teams are currently faring were brought into some sort of realism last Saturday, as Billingham Town travelled to their Durham Challenge Cup match against Stockton Town with only seven players and no manager and were beaten 14-0.
Oxford United's Dave Kitson has called the performance of the referee in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Bristol Rovers "horrific" and "horrendous".
Kitson, 33, also called Mark Brown the worst referee he has come across in his 13 years as a professional footballer.
Brown awarded Rovers a penalty as they beat Oxford while winger Alfie Potter also suffered a serious ankle injury in the game.
"He was horrific, horrendous, possibly worst referee I have ever had in my career," Kitson told BBC Radio Oxford.
Striker Kitson, who joined the U's in the summer, added of the challenge on Potter who was eventually carried off on a stretcher: "We have an incident where Alfie Potter is lying on the floor with his leg in a brace and he's asking the referee about the challenge and the referee is swearing at him, telling him to shut up and warning him he will send him off if he doesn't.
"The lad is lying there with tears in his eyes with his leg in a brace and he cannot even talk to the referee."
"He is probably the most arrogant man I have ever come across on the pitch in my life.
"We'd like some decisions from referees. The foul for the penalty was two yards out the box. The referee never communicated with the linesman. I've never seen anything like it in my life, I just don't know why I bother."
In response, the body that represents referees - Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) - declined to comment, adding Kitson's comments were now being investigated by the Football Association
