The incident on the goal line in the West Ham goalmouth brought to mind the "Hawkeye" system at the Grand Slam tennis tournament at Wimbledon. As long as even a miniscule part of the ball appears to have contact with the line, it is NOT a goal, as the WHOLE of the ball has to be OVER the goal line.
Exactly goal line technology is worth it's weight in gold, you can't argue with it although as a Chelsea fan I wish it hadn't been in use yesterday
I really cannot see any rational argument against modern technology

Any different to seeing games won or lost by player error?
It's part of the game. Always has been. I just think football is not suited to video replay. Take today for example. The penalty and sending off in the Sunderland Newcastle game. I have seen arguments for and against the decision. Would a video replay have made any difference to that?
Too many unanswered questions for me. So until they are answered I will prefer the status quo.
Clear penalty for me at Sunderland, defenders get away with that sort of thing far too often.
Perhaps not a red card as the keeper would probably have got the ball anyway but blame the stupidity of Colocccini
