Has there been any recent news about the future of the 86/6 fleet or has a decision still yet to be made?

The decision seemed to be based on what the electrification timeline will be which we are still waiting for. However, considering the various documents from the Government around de-carbonisation spoke favorably about freight in-fill electrification as quick wins then that should be good news for the 86s.
