Valentamaster 43080/43067 been performing superbly, its GC V NATEX in a game of QUIDSINitch !!!!:lol::lol:;)

Oh how I wish I had Photoshop...I'm picturing a GC and NXEC race down through York chasing after the Golden Ticket. Certainly looks like a funny Harry Potter parody in my head at least!

Nice to hear 080 is still performing nicely, I'm getting excited at the prospect of seeing it storming along!

As for 80, I was lucky enough to catch 80 and her sister storming south of york, not the best of pictures, as it was a 'turn around, and oh look' and my left hand had to do some flailing.

Pfft platform 9 3/4 at King's cross is more likely to exist than Grand Central's first service.

Err.....Kings Cross HAS has had a platform 9 3/4!

A few years ago, a promotional launch of a Harry Potter book was done on the renumbered platform 1.

A 'Hogwarts' Castle ran into the station (all the way from Hornsey!) for the very purpose.

Free drinkies and sarnies for the invited guests!

I had the dubious pleasure of conveying Patsy Palmer (of Eastenders 'fame' ???) and her family to and from the event!

GC running a service is great but where are they going to find any passengers from to fill it? I can understand they don't want to keep committing to a date but if they don't announce before hand the service is going to be empty at least early on.

They've been on the boards for a while, but I don't think they're running today. The service'll probably read "no news" all the way.

Yeah I get the gist.I would however concede to one name being used on a power car and that is Bobby Moncur, played for both NUFC & SAFC !!!;)
