The person who won the last clue will post clues on a railway line.
They can post any clue but nothing too obvious please!
Any confusion don't hesitate to PM me.

*This is a rural line.
*It was once a very important anglo-scottish route.
*It is very popular with tourists in the summer.

Have fun!

Considering a move to Memphis
this is the remaining part of a closed cross-country route
the TOC that runs the service has recently changed
there will soon be more changes to the route and service

It serves as both a commuter and a tourist line. It is electrified. People frequenty complain about the service.

Excellent,

OK, on this one, you pass a windmill and a pill box and one end is synonymous with a lake of blood !

No.

Ok then, it was almost, but not quite electrified.

Also, it was almost, but not quite closed.

I always thought the ECML went to Carstairs Jct?
Edinburgh and Carstairs Line from Haymarket East Junction to Carstairs South Junction.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Correct, only three trains each weekday cover the entire line from Paddington to Penzance, two up trains and one down train. There are of course many other trains that run from Paddington to Penzance but these take a shortcut from Reading to Cogload Junction.

It's a congested line with commuter and longer distance services radiating from the same place.
