Ely it is, congrats bse35!

Ely lost its direct trains to Liverpool Street via Bury St Edmunds, most now terminating at Ipswich. No real loss for Ely though.

Picture taken on 17/11/2008.

Thanks-its anyones turn now then

Not the case - if you can follow instructions then you *should* be able to post a pic... the PM I sent is entitled 'How to Post a Pic' - basically outlining how to post a pic ;)

Try this one then. Taken at dusk, hence the poor light. Hopefully someone will still get it.

Arghhh, damn end of page missing your post. I take it you mean his pic rather than this (ie mine). Of course it can, btw. I was cursing not getting in earlier when the thread had degenerated into a north v south slanging match, so jumped at the new opportunity.

Crayford.

Knew I should have taken my location off.;)

Please await guidance from transportphoto before taking over.

That's tricky, generic two platform station near some trees, that could be half the flippin' network.

Let's narrow it down...

The line is running east - west at that point. It's not on the 3rd rail territory. It's a tank train; oil because there are dark streaks from the filler caps. The platforms have distinctive curved lamp tops...
