I am so so happy!! LOROL are taking me on as a Trainee Train Driver in May! I just got the call so I am still all shaky and excited and have kissed about three random people in my office already.

It was tough but I got there.

Congratulations, as others have said you've a lot of hard work coming your way but you'll love every minute of it and when you get to the other and your sat at the controls on your own you can be proud of your acheivment. Its a lot to take in and if you dont know what your tutor is talking about ask questions until you do!!

I've just my self applied for the Engineering Apprenticeship with network rail I've got though the first initial stages and I just waiting for a date to be set for an assessment day it's gonna be tough but fingers crossed I'll have the same luck as you!

Good Luck but you wont need it if you study and do the very best you can in the assessment. If when I came out of doing the tests that I truley believed I couldn't have done any better then I was happy even if I didn't pass.

You'll sweat and your heart will pulse throughout but thats how you knoe you want it more than anyone else.
