Interesting day out

I got the 0714 Northern service from Doncaster- Leeds.I arrived into the Yorkshire capital at 0803 giving me a 5 minute conection for the Piccadilly.

I arrived at Manchester at 0905. At 0930 the early start was worth it.......

I then decided to pay £3.60 and have an hour or two at Warrington. I got 57301 there with mk2!!!!! (I was expecting a 175 :lol:)

I arrived at Warrington and ran to get this pic of it depart......

I then got these at bank Quay and Arply Yard.....

I then decided to have half an hour at Manchester Oxford Road.......

I then got the 1307 Oxford Road - Leeds, the the 1419 Leeds-Doncaster( For some reason it was 144020:shock:)

Very good day for me :D

Same here. It was great last time I went up, except they had a 92 buzzing & revving & clicking ALL DAY

Nice shots! I believe the term for the bit involving the 57 is 'bowled over'! Which I'd be too if I didn't realise it was coming out! And I didn't know it worked on Saturdays for ATW!

Loving the shot of 40145 at Manchester though, twas quality! Pity the sun was the other side, would have been a marvellous shot if it had been on your side!
