Wilkommen Stephen.

Hi everyone, I'm from the midlands, I'm a student in my teens and I mainly follow LM and ATW trains as well as many other trains on the WCML. I have a YouTube and Flickr account which you can access below. And if you haven't noticed by my username or photo, I'm obsessed with the class 172 units

So, I'm saying hello to everyone here! Hello! :)

Just to add, I was completely anti-rail until I started travelling to London to work on the olympics in May. Since then I've developed a massive interest and you know how it goes...

Welcome Sam, It's very unusual to hear of someone who didn't like trains then converted in a few months.

Lost somewhere within Bank-Monument tube station,
Good noon everyone. My name is Laine and I happen to live in the worst town in the entirety of the UK, grand old Lowestoft! :D

My username, 90sWereBetter, can be explained in two ways. I genuinely believe the 1990s were much better times to live in. Everything seemed so much easier and happier. Music was better for a start, and the railways hadn't yet been messed up by privatisation (although that would come later ). Otherwise, I am a big fan of the mighty Class 90s, and I hope that we'll be seeing them pound up and down the GEML for many years to come.

Currently studying Maths, English and Politics at A2 level, hopefully to study Politics at the UEA from next September. I am also a volunteer at the delightful East Anglia Transport Museum in Carlton Colville, where I have worked my way rapidly though the ranks over the past three years, to the point that I'll be able to start driving trams from next February. I have been interested in transport since I was a 'young one' many moons ago (Yes, it's been many years and much water under the bridge since the final year of the 20th Century :p). I'm more of a bus enthusiast myself, but I do have a good interest in the modern railway. I have quite an interest in Network SouthEast. Unfortuantly, money and time mean I don't often stray out of the Greater Anglia/Greater London area.

I probably could not live without music, anything from my beloved 1990s Britpop to my three favourite artists at the moment (Arctic Monkeys, Kate Nash, Kasabian).

Anyway, sorry for the minor essay. I hope my time here is productive and fun. :)

To say English isn't your native language, you speak (well, write) a lot better than quite a few English people I know!

Hello All... I am a retired railroader in the U.S. I'm planning a trip next year to do Train Watching (Spotting) in the UK and Europe.

I'm looking forward to getting tips and advise from forum members about locations where I will see great train action?

I will likely spend 10 days in the UK before moving on to Europe. I really enloy reading your forum posts about everything rail in the UK.

I have posted some of my videos on the photography/videos page and started an album of photos on my profile page.

Thanks...

Q. :)
