Interestingly, a former colleague told me yesterday that they were unable to sell an All Line Rover to a customer who wanted it to start next Wednesday, as the ticket issuing system wouldn't allow it - presumably because it couldn't find a price.

HOW MUCH?! Ridiculously poor value, IMHO, especially in comparison with alternatives in the wider world.

It's a fairly pointless product for anyone other than obsessive track bashers.

If they made it an "x days in y" type product, it could be a decent tourist ticket, but obviously the industry isn't interested in that.

Unless the tourist isn’t from the UK!

That's a ~4.85% increase, so might that mean the First Class 7 day ALR with railcard discount increasing from £571.55 to a ball park new amount just under £600.00?

Looks like the new ALR price is a bargain at £599.25. :)
