Not heard anything yet. I’ve called once and was told they will get back to me ASAP as the person dealing with it was on annual leave. That was 8-days ago I think. I’ll call them again tomorrow. I wouldn’t be surprised if certain jobs were on hold, I seem to recall hearing this here somewhere? Would be nice to know either way though.

Hang in there guys, I missed my deadline for my course this month (due to medical issues) they never notified me of this until I called them. They must be flat out.

Don’t stress man you’re in a good position, you’ve got a signaller role to fall back on and you’re still on the list for DB!

The medical issues setting me back is up for dispute anyway, hopefully it will be sorted out by next month.

Just got off the phone to them now. They said that they’re still conducting interviews for the area I applied for and not to expect a reply for a few weeks yet. This seems very similar to somebody else’s reply before Xmas (RedZone? Or he we shall not mention haha). I’m being overly sceptical here, but experience tells me something isn’t right here.

On a plus side, I have a GWR interview next week I’ve just found out today!

This was how it went with West Mids, interviews in September then there was a second batch of applicants that were still awaiting their interviews that just kept getting told that they hadn't set dates/people had been on holiday. As far as I'm aware those interviews never took place and now the recruitment is on hold for the area and unless I'd contacted them again I doubt I would have heard anything, bad news aside!

Interesting. I had my interview in mid December for Westbury. Still haven't heard anything.

I had mine for Eastleigh in December and have not heard, however was told they were still interviewing, which I thought was a fob off if I'm honest, but as @Numbnuts846 said, he has just done assessments for Westbury or Eastleigh? This backs up their statement. At my DMI they asked me about if I could possibly relocate to Westbury, so it's all coming together. I guess it makes sense if there's limited vacancies to interview all candidates before offering jobs.

Good luck @Numbnuts846 with yours, keep us updated!

They also asked me if I'd relocate. I don't disbelieve that they are still interviewing but surely they'd know if we have passed or failed?

Were there many people there? I was due to attend today but I couldn't due to work issues although I did let them know last week.

I'm sure I saw in another post that you had already completed the tests?

True story... except that I need to do my MMI and because of that DB want me to do all of them again. I had been agonising whether to attend or not because if I failed any of them it would cancel out my previous results. I had decided to go for it but circumstances took charge anyway

It’s not a case of passing or failing an interview though really (apart from the MMI). As with all interviews (or most?) they’ll score candidates on their performance offer jobs to the best performers.

At my TOC you either pass or fail. You are scored but that's just to determine if you have passed. You are not ranked.

Not that I doubt you, train_lover. But just to add something else to the mix, I had my interview for WSB in December and recieved a call from HR saying I had passed, but that vacancies had been put on hold until they had more work (this news coming the same day as FL announced Mendip contract win).

However, the post above from Atishyou is very welcoming news and I do hope that it is true.

I originally applied for another depot but was asked in my interview if I'd relocate to Westbury.
