But I'm thinking that if the clerk didn't ask to see the card in this instance, presumably they'd just press Child even with that in place.
There is an instruction from John Henkel at Metro/WYCA that as many transactions must be smart (from now) as possible, so once the equipment is fitted I expect ticket office clerks will get used to asking for an 'ITSO touch' from relevant passengers.
