Definitely won’t be 121 as that was withdrawn last summer. Could possibly have been a typo for 111 or 101, as they’re both still on lease.

It is, and no it wasn't a typo - I overheard it in real life. He's a complete vegetable if you ask me.

I gather that some photos are now on the internet of the 91s sent to Sims last week being scrapped, however I've been unable to find them, is anyone able to either share them here or share a link to them please?
The Wnxx website has pictures of 126 and 129 being chopped.

It's behind the member subscription paywall. Took fewer than 4 days to reduce 91129 to a few pieces of scrap metal. They certainly don't hang about!
I'm glad that 91126 is pictured without it's nameplates still attached.

Any pictures of the loco without the shell? As an electrical engineer, always been keen to see the transformer, power system, electronics etc

91106 started this diagram this morning, was not used yesterday.
Correct, the set had a fault yesterday and was replaced by an Azuma.
Out again today, which was not the plan.

As my booked nine-car Azuma, (the 08:00 to Newcastle) ended up a five carriage set this morning, I was delighted to be welcomed aboard the 08:03 Leeds service which was lead by 91111, changing to the ex 08:30 at Doncaster. The Mark 4 carriages were in superb condition, although it has to be said that the door closing alarm is so faint that I wouldn't be surprised if it fails PRM. As usual, a very comfortable and smooth journey. The Intercity 225s still operate a sterling service, and most notably without the noisy creaks and slams of the old HSTs, nor the automated announcements or traction motor whines of the Azumas.

Does anyone know the workings at Doncaster tomorrow for the 91 sets thank in advance.
My understanding is that all 4 that went (102, 113, 126 & 129) were processed very quickly.
