Hello Everyone :)

I went to Stoke on Trent today, On a London Midland Train expecting to get on the normal Class 350/1, but what is standing in on platform 8 to crewe?

a Class 90! With MK Coaches with London Midland Format.. ( Green Seats and Everything. )

I was Shocked! Where did they get this new stock from?

Neil

Unless they were ex-virgin mk2's, the seats inside of those are fairly similar to the london midland ones..

what - is this some mistake? If not i want to get this train to work every day!

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Stoke On Trent only have 3 platforms which is what Wikipedia also states, so where indeed is Platform 8 at Stoke On Trent?

Couldn't have been the Pretendolino could it? Where exactly is it having the C exam this week? Wembley or Crewe?

Then again.... he actually rode it from Crewe to Stoke on the regular LM service?

I think we should forget about the specific rolling stock, why was it working a LM service to start with!

There are far too many inaccuracies and/or vague descriptions in the OP to form any kind of judgement. I'm remaining sceptical until further information is received from the OP. It just seems to be descending into more and more farce as everyone guesstimates their two pennies worth.

If I may, I'll ask again. What lively (colours) were the carriages on the outside?
