Yes, it went to Oakwood and back.

I saw it last Tuesday when it wasn't supposed to be running! A lovely sunny day but no camera to hand.
If it was running it was supposed to be running - this is my point. Just because a TTN is/isn't issued it doesn't mean that it will/will not run. The TRV by its very nature runs as required.

Evening all.... there are a few sets I've not seen recently running on Intertube. Can anyone advise the status/location of sets:
21101, 21305, 21315, 21317, 21555, 21469 (believe at Ealing depot)
Also is the Bakerloo set 3260+3532 visible wherever it is located and also northern 542&543 sets.
I might head to London at the weekend to mop a few running sets up but try to pick off some longer out of service sets if possible. Many thanks

I think I've seen a couple of those in the past month, but I can't be 100% sure because I'm only really noting them if I ride on them or photograph them...

21469/470 is at Ealing Common depot, just about viewable a couple of weeks back from passing tube (southbound district line), it's the set that's parked against the trees behind the museum with graffiti visible down the side.

In addition to 21469 which is as per the earlier replies:

21101 Stopped at Neasden since February 2025
21305 Stopped at Ealing Common since April 2023
21315 Stopped at Upminster since June 2023
21317 Stopped at Upminster since May 2023
21555 Stopped at Neasden since January 2024
Bakerloo 3260 + 3532 stopped at Stonebridge Park since January 2025

Note however that I have not personally verified these locations!

I don't have the Northern line stopped car list (that fleet is maintained by a contractor). However, it appears that 51542 was last in normal service on 13th August 2023. There are a few sporadic workings recorded in May 2024, but as these amount to less than a complete round trip, I am tempted to regard these records as questionable. 51543 records seem to cease on 20th June 2023, suggesting that these two were not operating together at least after 51543 was stopped.

Thanks, I might have a run past the depot to see if it's visible

Brilliant, many thanks. I will most likely have a run past Ealing depot and depending on time maybe out to Upminster. There a few there that have been out of circulation for a while!

Thanks again, I did a run past yesterday and it was just visible through the trees absolutely covered in graffiti. Hopefully in time it will be repaired and put back into service although I think it's been out of service for circa 5 years.

Not much help I know, but unit 51543 is currently residing on 6 rd Golders Green Depot with various bits of equipment strewn around on the carriage floors: unfortunately there was no sign of it's sister unit (51542) as I was in a rush to get my train out of the said depot!

Hi All. I was travelling on the Bakerloo Line earlier today, which had 3240 on the front. Can anyone advise what was on the rear please?

I'm afraid I can't help but I've kept formation notes of all the Central sets I've seen in service and I've not seen 92106 out working since Aug 22 so looks like another one on the long-term out of use list for now.

I last recorded 92106 in service in 2023, but I don’t currently have access to centre car data to check.

I wouldn’t read too much into long periods of time for 92TS centre cars - there’s so many of them, I’ve gone years between riding on some that I know to be in service.

The battery loco (L20?) was in the Northfields depot earlier. Does anyone know where it's going next?

Battery locomotive.

Sadly not. These movements are not published and, when in a possession, work to and fro as required. If it exits (or enters) the possession this is generally done in “Controller’s Timings”, as necessary.

There will be the usual procession of trains to and from the possession(s) in the late evening and early morning as on most nights, and the best place to see all of these is between Rayners Lane and Ruislip.

Apologies I missed this, thanks for this. Not being familiar with the depot I assume it's not visible from any public places?

No, unfortunately unit 51543 is not visible from passing trains! it is currently on 6rd in Golders Green Depot on it's own and is not coupled to another unit.

Many thanks for this. It will save me a trip out looking for it. Hopefully it and its partner will eventually return to traffic.

92106 93106 have been stopped at Hainault since November 2023. They are shown as being on 25 road. This is the nearest road of the fan of four open air sidings just north of Hainault station to the inner rail line towards Grange Hill, so if the location is accurate (no guarantee I'm afraid), there is a good chance they are visible from a 'Hainault Shuttle' train leaving for Woodford.

Is Piccadilly Line WTT100 on Intertube driver training?

No, Timetable Notice (TTN100/25) allows for the number of trains stabling overnight in Arnos Grove Sidings to be reduced by three. Of these one will move to start from / stable at South Harrow and two will start from / stable at Northfields. This arrangement is to allow works to take place that will upgrade all of the sidings progressively to allow 2024 Stock Stabling, with four out of use at a time. These arrangements at Arnos Grove will continue into the leaf fall timetable which will run through until January 2026. Driver training will not start in earnest until the leaf fall timetable, ramping up in the January 2026 timetable - once the Infrastructure between Cockfosters and Northfields is enabled for 2024 Stock in passenger service.

I think there’s some confusion in terms.

@notverydeep appears to be referring to TTN (TimeTable Notice) 100 which comes into effect in a couple of weeks time as described.

@73Stock appears to be asking about a specific train number (100) and its movements today. This would be referred to generally as T100, although all lines to it slightly differently. I suspect this confusion comes from some of the language used on Intertube, which has been written by a layperson (@eta) and some of which has been fed back before.

T100 isn’t a scheduled or planned working so it really could be anything - although my educated guess is likely depot turning requirements given it appears to have started and ended from the Boston Manor end of Northfields depot. Indeed it may not even have been the same set of stock both trips. Service Controllers can allocate additional trains whatever number they please, and run the trains as suits them.

Oops - sorry, yes, I took WTT100 to refer to a timetable rather than the train number and it just so happens there is a timetable with the number 100 coming up on the line in a few weeks - though a TTN as you note. Apologies both for the inadvertent confusion! In my defence, because I can see the data anyway - I am not very familiar with Intertube - I will have a look tomorrow to see if I can identify the working and set involved...

I have edited my response in post #744 to be clear that I am referring to the TTN.

It's probably my terrible memory, but I don't recall hearing anything about the wording used on intertube; if you have suggestions for how it could be made less confusing I'm all ears!

Whatever 100 is it's running again now.
A train with the number T100 seems to have run yesterday from Oakwood WB at 09:49 to Northfields where it arrived at 10:51, later it ran from Northfields at 13:05 to Heathrow T4 and back to Northfields by 13:48, then departing at 14:00 back to Heathrow T4 before returning to Osterley (and presumably Northfields Depot West end) at 14:47. The leading car number data is blank for all of these trips, so I can't tell you what units were involved - but I would be surprised if it were anything other than a 73 Stock pairing. I have not been able to pick any movements today with the train number 100 on the Piccadilly though I'm afraid - do you know a specific location / time?
