I don't have a disregard for safety. I wouldn't put myself in harms way on purpose and I have NEVER EVER disrupted train services. From what I have witnessed in the past month or two regarding Flying Scotsman there are 1000's of people out there you should be more worried about than me. I was on Sandy station platform that day whilst people were climbing over fences and walking down verges. It was me pointing at them, not the other way around.

You've already admitted to not knowing all the dangers so how do you know if you're in harm's way and pointing to other's wrongdoing does not make your views any less foolish.

So you're an expert on which places are dangerous and which are safe but you didn't know about arcing. Time for a bit of self awareness.

To be fair, there's a lot of people at Network Rail and various TOCs who don't have a clue about arcing either.

Network Rail, ScotRail and Transport Scotland were quite happy to have a helium filled foil balloon underneath the OLE to celebrate 500,000 passengers on the Borders line, and Network Rail seem to be quite happy to let various advertising/promotional people to use foil balloons around the London termini with 25kV AC.

Could have been worse, could have been a hydrogen one.
