Already going very badly, the Bishop/Darlington - Saltburn diagrams are absolutely decimated already.
This is allegedly due to "shortage of conductors", which could of course be traction knowledge related. For the first time in 4 years I was bustituted out of Middlesbrough. Actually comfy and warm and a quiet if slightly longer journey, albeit in a coach with a driver who didn't know where the stations were and unilaterally decided to omit Allens West. Terrific 3-point turn in the car park at Eaglescliffe though.
Hopefully I will never see a Pacer again. For the record, 142013 on the 0712 ex Darlington was a disgrace. Filthy bus seat interior, no heat at all and wheel flats you could hear from half a mile. Good riddance!
Who knows what Monday will bring? I'lI no doubt be getting a slap in the face from Northern whatever shows up, and a new and less usefull timetable too.
