How many 170's are still to be done? I know 170461 still needs to go in as its still in SR livery but any others?

170453-457 and 461 haven't been refurbished yet, 170459 is currently at Crewe.
170459 returned from Crewe to Neville Hill on 11-5. As type this its allocated to the 1739 Leeds to Knaresborough.
Currently no Northern 170s showing at Crewe.
So that's the 5 with first class compartments still in Scotrail colours then. I guess they'll need a tad more work to refurbish & convert back to standard class only.170453-457 and 461 haven't been refurbished yet

The only 158 seats I'm happy to see the back of are the ones in the ex-Central Trains (I think) units, the ones with the blue grab-handles.Sadly they seem to be continuing with replacing the seats on the 158's. Had both types of 158 (seats replaced and seats not replaced) on the S&C and definitely preferred the old ones.
On the plus side got a 150 yesterday with actual new moquette, which was pleasing.

Yes, it's always a disappointment to find those in a unit.
A Northern 158 turning up with those seats is like hiring a stretch limousine, only to find it fitted out with plastic patio chairs! They're less comfortable than the much-maligned ironing boards IMO.Chapmans? They look basic and very dated but are comfortable.
I think it was mentioned that they would be, though I doubt it'll be a priority. Also, will the refurbished Northern units that have the 'flat cloth' seats be changed for moquette ones?
thanks, just wonderingI think it was mentioned that they would be, though I doubt it'll be a priority.
I saw one of the cab ends in the shed at Holbeck as I passed earlier, with an inner vehicle end alongside. The cab front looked pretty much finished from what little I could tell, but there were a few workers busy with the adjacent vehicle.Anyone know when 333012 is due to be dragged back to Neville Hill?
Possibly this Friday 24th May, two workings are in realtime trains one from Holbeck to Neville Hill in the morning with a return working in the afternoon presumably like previous drags taking the next 333 for refurb.Anyone know when 333012 is due to be dragged back to Neville Hill?
