My good lady holds a Z2-4 Annual (with Gold Card). A change in circumstances means she is now going to commute Selhurst / Belsize park. The various travel options avoiding zone 1 are pretty time consuming and even her passion for reading would be tested to destruction.
So . . . her most likely travel options are a mix of Southern Selhurst - Victoria - Tube (via zone 1 obviously) and Selhurst - Balham - Tube. The suspicion is that Northbound it will likely be Balham / tube and via Victoria on the way home as it's a more sociable place to wait for trains going home when it's all a bit turnipy.
Anyway. She has about three months left on the Annual. Choices. . .
Refund and get a new Annual Zones 1 - 4
Just use PAYG for each days extensions
Buy a Zone 1 add on for three months
The cost for a quarterly that will only be used twice 5 days a week doesn't seem to stack up against the few PAYG journeys she has done thus far cost wise.
Thoughts anyone?
