Morning all,
Should a Peterborough - London Terminals ticket (whether Advance, Anytime, Off-Peak) allow you to travel on the underground from King's Cross St Pancras through to Farringdon, and then let you out the barriers there?
This is a regular journey for many workmates, and I did this return journey yesterday - my 2 Advance tickets DID allow me in and out of the underground at KCSP and Farringdon, for both journeys.
However, a colleague tried this on Wednesday, and the barrier going into KCSP came up Seek Assistance - she also had an Advance ticket. She then used a shared Oyster to get through.
I assumed it would let you out, as you are eligible to go through to Moorgate (2 stops down the line from Farringdon on the tube). This would save this company hundreds of pounds each year on Oyster fares.
