Pictures like many of these make me wonder why I enter sometimes. The quality here is absolutely outstanding for the most part and a clear majority would be worthy winners. But there can of course only be one winner and for me it's #10 - many are of the same quality, but few are so clear or as easy to "obtain".

Just need to remember, The winning photo is in a calender so I hope people on this forum will choose a good one.

Love #04 for a number of reasons: great shot of course..good depth of field, good composition, depiction of movement, eye is focussed to the train.

Also because it contains something unusual: a 2car EMU, the last service before a change in the usage of the line, history :)

All are great photos however I think any photo from the Highlands or Settle-Carlisle should be banned because as far as I can see you can hardly fail to get a good photo there :)
