Sounded like a good little day in the local(ish) area
A thoroughly enjoyable read as always! Congleton is one shack I really must get on with getting, I wonder if that XC run in the evening still calls there, just to score the shack in a slightly different manner.
A late start to the year but understandable with a new job starting. Four on and four off must be quite nice, although that depends on the hours of course!
08220 sounds like an 08 I need, I must find out and get up that way soon if I do!
5 Minutes walk from Acton Main Line. A-Z hotel by any chance?
Sounded like a very productive time in London, lots of required units and stations into your book
Welcome Back, Mr Roebuck!
Looks as though your capital caper was a success and I certainly like your comments about various stations on the Hainault Loop - particularly Chigwell. Gants Hill is most famous for its roundabout.
I see that you interchanged from the DLR to the East London Line - that would have been at Shadwell rather than the stated Limehouse.
That would be pleasant. Are you up there between 25/9 and 29/9, or just at the weekend?Funny if we bump into each other in North Wales
Out and back to a brewery? Wainfleet has one, I believe - don't know if its a required shack for you though...Sounds like some fun ahead!
My next journey by train is likely to be on Friday, purely an out and back to visit a brewery and the many required brews they do!
Just caught up the this thread Roebuck, as usual some excellent reading.
You've certainly been busy, then quiz competitions have certainly enabled you to put a huge dint in your requirements.
Have you never thought of putting your extensive knowledge to a test on tv. May as well try n win some mega cash.

Congrats on getting Polesworth out of the way. I must be one of the few to have boarded there rather than alighting
