My sister used to own and run a children's nursery in London, and about twenty years ago a child's mother rang to say she was running late, so her father (or father-in-law, I'm not sure which) would come and collect the child, and his name was Mr Corbett. Imagine my sister's surprise to open the front door a little while later to Ronnie Corbett! He was charm itself, apparently, and said he'd heard great things about the nursery, which perked my sister up considerably as she had just lost her husband. She never came across anyone else famous in her work, either.

The only known comedians in the Netherlands from Britain are Monty Python with 1 member already 30 years dead. But a single person; Rowan Atkinson.

Another great entertainer gone. At this rate, there'll be nobody left by the end of the year. :s

Four candles / fork handles. Absolute comedy genius. Timing in comedy is everything and he had it in spades.

Language, Timothy!

RIP Ronnie; you made me laugh.

Very sad news - yet another big loss to the entertainment industry.

R.I.P. - and sincere condolences to his friends and family.
