Is it broke these days? Always seems the heating is on? Luckily Glasgow Edinburgh line isn’t a long journey. Recently travelled TransPennine Express and it was very cool after the heating went off. Is it broke or do they just not want to use air con?

The air con has been working perfectly all the 385s I've driven this week. However what can happen is that if there's no drivers key been in a train for a while is goes into power saving mode, shows "chillin' "on the destination display, and the air con goes off. If you've boarded a train that's been sat a while it can take a while to cool down again. Opposite in winter, the heating goes off then it's freezing for a while.
